Ethics are important not only in business but in academics and society as well because it is an essential part of the foundation on which a civilized society is built. Ethical behaviour is what all career people should aim to have. The three schools are virtue ethics, consequentialist ethics, and deontological or duty-based ethics. Each approach provides a different way to understand ethics.
These two early civilizations lived in an egalitarian manner and innovated basic community organization. In Jericho, around 8000BC, the inhabitants constructed a wall and watchtower around the city. This shows some level of organization and public works projects beginning to form. In Çatal Hüyük, inhabitants would specialize in areas such as pottery or bread-making.
